Home Automation Using Hand Gestures

This project makes the life of disabled people easy.
The user can turn on/off the electrical appliances in the home by showing the specific gestures.
By pointing the index finger towards the camera the light will turn on. If the user wants to turn off the light, he should close his fist.
Also, using an IR sensor, the light gets turned on and off automatically once the user enters and leaves the room, respectively.
